I was visiting Paris for business. Besides visiting Maison et Objet show, I needed to visit many stores and study their concepts and learn. Naturally I have to carry a digital camera (Canon IXUS) so that I can secretly take pictures in these stores quickly. However, I feel more random and treasure the photos more if I take pictures from film, both on my Polaroid cam and my Rollei. This time I chose Ilford B&W film on Rollei to remove all colors so that the pictures are exposed to their raw composition. Polaroid however captured the colorful moments. I wrote a lot on what I think and what I saw. I need to have minutes of quiet time to think after visiting places. Because I was using Moleskine's Paris CityNotebook, I need to use pencils, so I carry pencil cap, sharpener and a penclip.
Rollei + ILFORD B&W 400: remove color, see the raw composition
Lomo flash: small and useful for Rollei at night and in dark
Pencil cap: reduce damage to other items in my bag
Faber Castel pencil & sharpener: inevitable for Moleskine CityNotebook
Pen Clip: by Authentics, designed by Stefan Diez, extremely useful for Moleskine
Polaroid One600 Rossa: unique picture, instant, one and only
