Today marks the debut of two columnists in the pages of Crain's New York Business. Gael Greene, whose writing on restaurants and food has set the gold standard in this city and beyond, returns to print with a column introducing us to the epicurean delights of Locanda Verde, the newest addition to Robert De Niro's TriBeCa dining empire. An author and critic for 40 years at New York magazine, Gael blogs at insatiable-critic.com. With James Beard, she co-founded Citymeals-on-Wheels, a program that has grown into the nation's largest public-private partnership.
Also appearing for the first time in our pages is Anne Fisher, whose insights on workplace and management issues are published regularly on CNNMoney.com and in Time and Fortune, where she was a senior writer and columnist for 12 years. Anne's column for Crain's, Executive Inboxwhich can also be read at crainsnewyork.com/execinbox.comwill cover eclectic ground, everything from intriguing conversations with thought leaders to C-suite career news and smart ideas for running a business.
We showcase both writers in our redesigned Business Lives section, starting on Page 21. We've upgraded some old favorites like Gotham Gigs and the calendar, and we've expanded our coverage of careers and the workplace. We hope you're as taken with the results as we are. Let us know what you think.
